Volunteer Opportunities
Providence Housing is happy to host short-term volunteer projects at our rental projects. Every year, volunteers for the United Way Day of Caring and Day of Action help us with our spring clean-up. Incoming freshmen at the University of Rochester have helped with various projects by participating in Wilson Day, a day of volunteering in the community. Several visiting church youth groups and missionaries, from all over the United States, have used their day of service to maintain our gardens and lawns. Typical volunteer projects include spring cleanup, yard work, painting, and cleaning and organizing.
